Delhi woke up to a cold and polluted New Year morning on Thursday, with the city recording an Air Quality Index (AQI) in the “very poor” category. Several areas, including Anand Vihar, Mundka and Jahangirpuri, crossed the 400-mark, indicating “severe” pollution levels.
