Operation Hawkeye: US Strikes ISIS Targets in Syria
US Central Command (CENTCOM) launched fresh airstrikes on ISIS targets across Syria on January 11 as part of Operation Hawkeye, in response to a December 13 ISIS attack in Palmyra that killed two US soldiers and one civilian interpreter.
